Keizershallen

Shopping complex Keizershallen is a household name in Aalst. Two years ago, owner Retail Park Aalst bv had the front facades renovated. Now the flat roof has been completely renewed with a view to installing solar panels. Next to the shopping complex used to be the Keizershallen, the premises where carnival groups could build their floats. These groups have since found accommodation elsewhere in the city. The original halls were demolished some time ago and the site now serves as a car park.
